Get your SIA license to work in security
Here’s how it usually works for most of our learners.
First, you complete your training. Depending on the course you choose, this takes between 3 and 7 days. During this time, you’ll build the core skills needed to work safely, confidently, and legally in security roles.
Next, you pass a short exam and receive your training certificate. After that, you apply for your SIA licence. This part typically takes 7–10 days.
Once your licence is approved, you can start applying for jobs straight away. Many of our learners go on to earn £14 to £25 per hour, with monthly earnings of up to £3,000, depending on the role and hours you choose to work.

Level 2 Door Supervisor

- 💷 Earning potential: £14 ph - £25 per hour. Recover and have more than what you pay for the course in just 10 days once you’ve found work.
- 🕛 Timings available: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (Monday to Sunday)
- 🏠 Training space: Suite 2, Holbeck House, 116 Dewsbury Rd., Leeds LS11 6XD
- ✨ Free retakes available; cushion against the risk of failing the exam.
SIA Top-Up Refresher For Door Supervision + First Aid
- 🗓️ Takes 3 days to complete
- 🍹 Work in pubs, clubs, static sites, retail, events, festivals, and more!
- 💷 Earning potential: £14 ph - £25 per hour. Recover and have more than what you pay for the course in a month.
- 🩹 Includes free First Aid Training
- 🕛 Slots available between: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm (Monday, Friday, Saturday)
- 🏠 Training space: Suite 2, Holbeck House, 116 Dewsbury Rd., Leeds LS11 6XD
- ✨ For refreshers who wish to renew their license after SIA’s 3-year limit
First Aid Training
- 🗓️ Takes 1 day to complete
- ❗️Mandatory skill for door supervision, SIA top-up refresher, CCTV, and close protection.
- ✨ Included with Door Supervision (except the Bronze plan) and Top-Up Refresher courses.
- 🕛 Timings available: Monday 8.30-5pm
SIA licenses you can apply post-training
After completing your training, you’ll be eligible to apply for an official SIA licence, which is a mandatory requirement to work legally in the UK security industry.
Common licences candidates choose are:
- Door Supervisor Licence (also valid for security guard roles)
- Security Guard Licence
These licences are recognised nationwide and reputable employers check if you have one before hiring you for a particular role.
