Yes! To work as a security guard, door supervisor, or CCTV operator in the UK, you must have an SIA license, which you can get by completing one of our SIA-approved training courses.

Most of our courses range from 3 to 7 days, depending on the type of training. After completing the course, you can apply for your SIA license.

The Door Supervisor course is a 7 day course with First Aid that is mandatory to complete before applying for the SIA license.

To become a Door Supervisor course, you need an SIA Door supervisor license. You will need to take Door Supervisor training course to apply for the license. It is also mandatory to have a first aid qualification before you start your training course.

It is recommended that someone is able to undertake first aid duties at all times when people are at work.

The First Aid at Work course is a comprehensive three day course that covers everything you need to know to be the official first aider in your company. It is especially useful for companies that are in high risk sectors or have many employees.
The Emergency First Aider at Work is a one day course that is better suited to low risk environments and companies with few staff.
